My son

With a timid voice and idolizing eyes, the little boy greeted his father as he returned from work, "Daddy, can i ask you something?
Father: Sure..
Son: how much do you make an hour?"
Greatly surprised, but giving his boy a glaring look, the father said: "Look, son, not even your mother knows that. Don't bother me now, I'm tired."
"But Daddy, just tell me please!? How much do you make an hour," the boy insisted.

The father finally giving up replied: " Twenty dollars per hour."
"Okay, Daddy? Could you loan me ten dollars?" the boy asked.
Showing restlessness and positively disturbed, the father yelled: "So that was the reason you asked how much I earn, right?? Go to sleep and don't bother me anymore!"

It was already dark and the father was thinking on what he had said and was feeling guilty. Maybe he thought, his son wanted to buy something. Finally, trying to ease his mind, the father went to his son's room.

"Are you asleep son?" asled the father. "No, Daddy. Why?" replied the boy partially asleep. "Here's the money you asked for earlier," the father said.

"Thanks, Daddy!" rejoiced the son, while putting his hand under his pillow and removing some money. "Now I have enough! Now I have twenty dollars!"
The father seemed speechless as his son with tears in his eyes said "Dad, i need you..would you spend an hour with me".

Do spend time with your loved ones..They need you

Be Happy

A group of people, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:

"If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us."

God brews the coffee, not the cups.......... Enjoy your coffee!

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything."

Live simply. Love generously. Never let go of your beloved. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Be Happy with what you have. Leave the rest to God.

Love Story

Diana was our General Manager whose husband died suddenly of a heart attack. About a week after his death, she shared some of her insight with us.

With a gentle look on her face, she paused and said, " I would like to share with all of you a thought that is unrelated to work, but which I feel is very important.

As she spoke, tears in her eyes became visible to all of us..With efforts she was holding them back. She said "A day  would come when you have your loved one in your life. Then all you have to do is love him and hold on to him.

Because one day all of a sudden, when he is not there with you to hold your hand and care for you. That day you would want to go back and tell him again and again that you love him and that you cannot live without him..But it would be too late then.

"None of us know when this fantastic experience will end. It can be taken away at any moment. Its good to have money and the things that money can buy.But you should check up once a while and make sure, you havent lost the things that money cant buy."

Her eyes began to water as she went on, "So I would like you all to make me a promise..Value your love more than anything else.Or someday he may just not be there".

Everybody was completely quiet. That day we learnt the most valuable lesson of our life..But for a few of us it was too late. Wake up if it is still not too late for you.Wake up!

A Good Deed

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. Being embarrased however, Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water to the lady who opened the door.
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
She replied."You don't owe me anything. Mother has taught me that a good deed never goes waste. it always comes back to you".
He said....."Then I thank you from my heart." As the young boy left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also.

Year's later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. He rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.
Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best for his patient since she was suffering from a rare disease. From that day he worked very hard researching, doing different investigations, trying everything he could to save her life.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval so that he could write his charges.
The bill was then sent to the lady. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. She may have to sell her house to pay the bill. She may have to stay on the streets for the rest of her life.
Finally she looked, the bill had an enormous amount written in it and she knew that all was lost.

But something caught her attention on the side of the bill.
It read.....
" Your Bill paid in full with a glass of milk. A good deed never goes waste. it always comes back to you."
(Signed)
Dr. Howard Kelly
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

According to statistics, the mortality rate among women suffering from cardiovascular diseases is also higher than that of men across the world, including India. The main reason behind the increased mortality rate in women is the changes in lifestyle in metropolitan cities.
